Inverness Management LLC is a privately held investment firm managing several private equity funds with capital commitments of over $400 million, including substantial investments of the principals’ capital. Inverness provides equity for leveraged acquisitions, recapitalizations, and companies seeking additional strategic capital. Our firm seeks to concentrate its private equity investments in a limited number of attractive businesses with a target of $50 million of equity per platform investment.

Inverness transactions typically range in value from $50 million to $200 million. Inverness pursues a platform strategy, in which we focus on investing in a core business with a strong management team and industry expertise, and then seek to increase the value of our investment by prudently deploying capital in organic growth opportunities and strategic follow-on acquisitions. While we generally seek businesses with strong, predictable free cash flow, we are opportunistic investors, often targeting out of favor industries and special situations.

Inverness maintains a patient, value-oriented and often contrarian investment strategy with a focus on capital appreciation over the longer term.
